SPACES AND MORE
This project was undertaken as a peer-reviewed and graded project for the Google UX Design Certificate course. It aimed at implementing the design thinking process to design for users with disabilities particularly the visually disabled.
Spaces and more, a fictional interior design practice was created as a platform to drive ideation for solutions to identified user problems surrounding accessibility to simple online services and tasks using a screen reader such as scheduling a consultation and identifying services offered by a vendor/professional. The results from empathizing with the user through research and defining a clear problem statement through journey maps and personas were used to ideate toward designing prototype solutions for an app and a responsive website. Each design also focused on the applicable Use Case for each platform.
