4 WALLS
This project was undertaken as a peer-reviewed and graded project for the Google UX Design Certificate course. In addition to designing a functional user flow for a better user experience, this project also provided a practical opportunity to build my knowledge and skills in developing sitemaps and designing information architecture for a simple website.
The responsive website for 4 walls, a fictional online property rental company was a vehicle to drive empathy for users of similar products and identify common user challenges surrounding searching through a large volume of information. With information architecture as a tool, I explored ways to present a large amount of information/data in a straightforward and easy to process visual format while also establishing an easy and predictable user flow for users to search listings for rental homes and contact property owners in a straightforward manner. The design also intends to make it easy for the user to begin the search user flow from different pages without interfering with its purpose.
